Homeopathy is a 250 year old system of energy healing which originated in Germany in the 18th century and is increasingly re-gaining popularity in the US as it “treats like with like” and works with the body to restore balance, alleviate symptoms, and does so fast and without side effects. Homeopathy addresses mind and body and so its great for most physical and emotional ailments.
Its great for first aid – shocks, bruising, strains, burns, stings etc. It works really fast and effectively for acute illnesses like stomach bugs, sore throats, flus, coughs, colds etc. Homeopathy can treat chronic illness effectively – asthma, eczema, psoriasis, anxiety, auto immune syndromes, addiction issues, ADHD, etc all without the use of any drugs causing side effects.
How Do I Take It?
You can get the little round sugar pellets called the remedy at health food stores or by mail order overnight. You take 2 pellets under your tongue – and don’t eat or drink anything for about 15 minutes before or after to let the remedy have a chance to sink into your system.
I am hoping you can help me. I have been working FOH for a few years now and I am feeling an intense amount of eye strain. I feel like my eye balls are aching and I really want to rub them but its not helping, only making it worse. I feel like my sight is getting weaker as a result and I’m 30 so I’m pretty worried as I’m not nearsighted or anything and too young for reading glasses. Any ideas? R.P.
Working with lights in the dark is never a good thing for your eyes and this includes reading on your iPad in the dark on a bus or in a hotel room. Given that it is a hazard of your job its good to have some things you can use to strengthen your eye muscles and rectify some of that damage.
Try the homeopathic remedy Ruta 30c. Take a dose at bedtime and the next morning for three days and then stop. At this potency you can’t take it every day. If you want to use it daily for a while then see if you can get it in a 12c and you could try that once a day for a few weeks.
Homeopathic remedies are like energetic essences of whatever substance they are made from. The practitioner matches the “state” you’re in to the remedy picture. In the case of the first aid remedies it’s a little simpler. A remedy that would cause similar pains if you ingested it in plant form will, when made into a homeopathic remedy, cure the same thing. When you take the Ruta, it should cause your muscles in your eyes to strengthen back up and hopefully make a difference to your overall feeling of weakness, restoring your eyes to their pre-strain state.
I also like drops made by Similisan – those you can get a lot of places now and they make some for dry eyes and another for irritated eyes. You could try them out and see which work for you. They are entirely harmless and your body won’t develop a resistance to them.
